Project Background

Rick’s Smoke Shop is a U.S.-based modern tobacco and cannabis product retailer. The client approached Ouyee to help transform their large-format store into a clean, organized, and retail-efficient environment that supports high customer traffic and seamless product interaction. With a focus on pharmacy-style merchandising, the shop aimed to balance functionality with visual clarity.

Design Features

To meet these needs, we implemented the following strategies:

The key feature of the store is a continuous run of glass cabinets along the perimeter walls. These units include integrated LED lighting and adjustable tempered-glass shelves, ideal for boxed vape items and retail packaging.

Black metal gondola shelving units were installed in the central space to support high- volume item display. Their clean lines and matte finish maintain a professional look while allowing flexible restocking.

A designated hookah showcase wall with back-mounted brackets and spotlighting was added, emphasizing premium items and enhancing product exposure.

To soften the commercial tone, wooden-framed display sections were incorporated near the entrance area, offering a warmer look and premium shelf space for high-end goods.

Custom logos, signage elements, and digital display panels ensure the Victory Vapor brand is visible and professional throughout the space.

The project resulted in a highly navigable and user-friendly smoke shop environment that combines pharmacy-style clarity with retail efficiency. The well-lit glass showcases and flexible shelving improved product visibility and inventory organization, while the clear aisle layout optimized customer flow and reduced congestion. Overall, the design enhanced the store’s appeal, boosted sales circulation, and strengthened the brand identity through integrated branding and professional presentation.
